I recently stayed at 6 Columbus Central Park Hotel, and while the location near Central Park and Columbus Circle was fantastic, my experience was a mixed bag. I appreciated the modernist decor and unique room layouts, but found the service lacking at times. The facilities were decent but could use some improvements, especially in communication and room amenities.

I had initially booked a King Deluxe but switched to a King Suite for more space, which worked well for us. The room was clean, but it was on the smaller side, typical for NYC. There was a microwave, but it was awkward to use since it wasn't fully plugged in.

Service was hit or miss; the staff was friendly, but I encountered some strange moments like unexpected knocks on my door, even with a do-not-disturb sign up. Also, I had trouble reaching the front desk by phone when I needed assistance.

The hotel is in a prime location, just steps from Columbus Circle and the subway, which made exploring the city super convenient. I loved that it was a short walk to the theater for the Jerry Seinfeld show we attended.

While the location across from Central Park was fantastic and provided easy access to the subway, I was disappointed with the cleanliness of my room and the slow service. The heating system in the bathroom was a nice touch, but the overall upkeep left much to be desired. 😕
